Showers & Blessings of Santa Maria Valley has transitioned to a mobile shower system, taking the ministry out into the community.
Working alongside supporting partners, the shower teams help provide practical care for people in need. The church calendar lists current operating dates, locations and details.
Our story

A ministry built on care.
It started August 12, 2012, by the collaborative efforts of Crestwood Christian Fellowship and First United Methodist Church providing the volunteer backbone, the hospitality foods, hair salon, limited undergarment distribution, toiletries, and even seasonal items.
Today we have periodic donations from other church collections, businesses, individuals, and agencies. These donations, whether goods or funds, are a boost to our ability to provide more of the basic needs when our guests come to shower but we still need a lot more help. Join with us and make a difference in the lives of these people working on improving their lives.
