Doing church differently

Why Crestwood?

Faith rooted in Scripture. Love expressed through service.

A place to call home.

Why Crestwood?  As you look around Santa Maria you see lots of Christian churches with great people. Why consider Crestwood Christian Fellowship? Who needs another church?

I’m glad you asked.  First, it is interesting to know the reason there are so many Christian churches is because there are many different kinds of people.  No single church appeals to everyone. Therefore God, in His wisdom, creates diversity and variety – all for us. If you have any doubts or questions about that, just look around. Look at all the different kinds of people, trees, fish, animals, insects, and even snowflakes ~ you get the point.

However, while Crestwood may look like other Christian churches on the outside – you will find distinct differences and the best way to see and experience them is to come check us out.  Let’s take a peek:

An all-volunteer church.

Since November 2009, Crestwood has brought together people of every age and walk of life as a non-salaried, all-volunteer church.

After rent and utilities, church resources go toward meeting needs such as shelter, food, clothing, medications, transportation, schooling and eyeglasses.

We “teach and meet needs.” Children and adults are invited to take part in sharing the Good News of Jesus and caring for their neighbors.

Rooted in God’s Word.

At Crestwood, we place the highest value on the Bible. Teachings come directly from Scripture every Sunday.

Our mission is to boldly share the Gospel of Christ throughout the Santa Maria Valley and to live out His call to love one another.

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
